At last, I have completed the paper for course Reliability and evaluation of computer systems, titled Comparison of free and trial virtual machines for Windows running Ubuntu Linux Server distribution.
I have tested six different products and came to the answer that I will use VMware Server. It is free powerful, platform independent and easy to use. I have used this product for quite a time and I must say I am pleased with it. It runs great, it does not crash and has many parameters to set that man would like to have to set his virtual machine.
You can find the pdf here. But I must warn you that it is written in Slovene so all you may want to look at are graphs near the end and resources.
