I didn't have lot of luck on my way back home from Hong Kong. When I arrived to Hong Kong International airport I already found out that my flight will be delayed. And yes it was delayed, for 6 hours. And that was enough for me to miss my flight from London to Zagreb.
We landed in London just few minutes before my plane should take off. But I missed it. Air New Zealand sent me to hotel with buffet dinner, bad and breakfast and they book new flight for me next day. And that was it. When I arrived to the airport again next day I realised that that was it for real. They only reserved new ticket for me, but they did not pay it. And they reserved 800€ ticket for me. I tried to get in touch with them to find out if thete is any slution, but there was no way I could get in contact with them before the middday and that is why I looked for new ticket, cheaper then the one they offered me.
The cheapest one I could find was 500€. And yes, I had to pay aditional 500€ just to get from London back home. Ridicolus!!!
But what can I do. I'll make sure that next time all my tickets will be connected so I won't have any additiona expences. It was expensive school thou.
But I'm home. And that is what metteres. I started my job again and since I'll be here only for a week I don't really have to do much. The real work will start when I return from my second prat of Exchange. But more about that in some later posts.
